Bison Chases Man in Yellowstone: Surveillance Videos of the Week

A grandfather who was tossed into the air by a bison in Yellowstone National Park as his grandson looked on is recovering from his injuries, which led to him going viral in a major way and earning Surveillance Videos of the Week leadoff status this week, but park officials say no punitive action will be taken against the bull. Animals play a prominent role in this week’s collection of surveillance videos, with a news reporter in Los Angeles doing her best to ignore a cockroach crawling on her during a live report and an Oakland firefighter taking an extra step to help a pigeon fly again. We also saw a couple of low flyovers, including one on America’s 250th birthday that led to the suspension of Apache helicopter pilots that was later overturned, and a man a who will never choose a window seat when he flies again.
