Iluminar Names Ron Martin Critical Infrastructure Security Consultant

SUGAR LAND, Texas – Infrared and white light illuminator manufacturer Iluminar recently welcomed Dr. Ron Martin as the company’s new critical infrastructure security consultant, according to a company announcement. In this role, Martin “will work directly with Iluminar clients to conduct risk-informed security planning, strengthen facility protection and access control strategies and integrate physical and cyber safeguards in high-consequence environments,” the announcement says. “With deep expertise across physical security, cybersecurity, identity management and access control, Dr. Martin brings a powerful blend of strategic insight and real-world experience to Iluminar’s growing consulting capabilities,” according to the Iluminar announcement. Why Did Iluminar Hire Ron Martin As a Consultant? Martin is a retired U.S. Army officer whose career spans federal government leadership, law enforcement, higher education and standards development. He previously directed the Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (ICAM) programs for two federal agencies and contributed to the Federal ICAM Roadmap that guides identity security across government.
