Daryl Spencer Thompson: A Remembrance from Jeffrey Zwirn It is with profound sadness to share with you that our treasured employee Daryl Spencer Thompson, son, brother, father, honorable Army veteran, master alarm technician and senior forensic investigator, peacefully passed away on Sept. 15, 2026, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Daryl was truly one of a kind. And for everyone who knew Daryl, they knew that he truly cared about each and every one of IDS’ customers like they were part of his family in his exemplary 24-plus years of working for IDS. Daryl was nothing less than an integral part of our family. His personality, caring and expertise was core to what mattered most to him. And everyone mattered to Daryl, no matter what. Daryl was one of the best human beings that I ever had the honor and pleasure of working with in my over 50 years in the industry. I will never forget Daryl and what he meant to me and everyone who knew him. We will always feel your presence and laughter, Daryl. Rest in peace, beautiful and special soul.
